WHAT'S NEW

 ARCHIVES

January 1, 2004:

Well, I hope everyone enjoyed reading the 'journal' of my experience of being a "Wood River Hall" audience member.  The WRH section has now evolved into a monthly program guide featuring times and previews of upcoming episodes on Vision TV.

With the ever-changing availability of Connie's albums, we've updated the Where To Find Albums section to make sure that every record that's still in stock out there can be found and purchased.

Connie has provided her ode to pining for home, "Bigger Than Anywhere Else", to the Saskatchewan Tourism Authority for their new promotional video.  You can make the connection to watch the presentation through the Tourism Links or regular Links section.

New Live Track and Hart Rouge & Connie clips, including the lesser-heard 1984 version of "Bird On A Wing" from Moonlight Grocery.

December 2, 2003:

Read all about Connie's new book and CD at "Spotlight: A Duck In New York City."  You'll find lyrics and song clips as well in the discography section, along with the usual rotated album samples.

Read all about "Dodo la plančte do 2" in the Hart Rouge section, along with new song clips.

Musical holiday recipes return courtesy of New Songs For An Old Celebration at "Give Roy A Mincemeat Tart" and "Have The Egg Nog Ready..."

We celebrate the holidays and the 10th anniversary of Carmen Campagne's Christmas Treasures featuring Connie and Hart Rouge by featuring all of the album's songs on various pages around the site.

In the 'what took us so long?' department, the complete lyrics to Lullaby Berceuse (including Carmen Campagne's bonus tracks) are finally available in the discography.

The air dates for Connie's TV Show are out and available in the "@ Wood River Hall" section.

We have a very seasonal live track of the month for y'all...

Don't forget to participate in our current poll question!

October 8, 2003:

More original photos and even a remixed version of "Wood River" are featured in "Saskatchewan Slideshow 2: Regina and The Wood River."

New live track and song clips, including a selection from one of Connie's earliest records, the children's album "Ice Cream Sneakers."

September 4, 2003:

Debuting this month is the section devoted to upcoming musical television show, "Connie Kaldor @ Wood River Hall".  It's jammed packed with bios, photos and song clips of Connie's special guests, as well as a first-hand account of the tapings that took place in August.  As the program draws nearer to it's scheduled January 2004 debut, you'll find info on airing times and more in this section.  Enjoy your visit to the Hall!

Yep, new Connie and Hart Rouge song clips.  This month's Live Track is personally special to me and I hope you find it touching as well.

August 4, 2003:

July 1, 2003:

Read all about Connie's new album, as well as how to order it at Spotlight: Vinyl Songbook

Time travel back 23 years ago at Spotlight: The 1980 Vancouver Folk Music Festival.  You can hear Connie's first major-release record performance there or at The Live Track Of The Month, as well as a few other performances from the concert, including an early performance by Ferron.

You can still listen to Connie's Birthday Celebration, live from May.  It will be up for another month.

New song clips, including Hart Rouge offerings from "Nouvelle-France", "Beaupre's Home" and "Dodo la planete do".

There are some new and better retailers we've linked up to in Where To Find Albums
