WHAT'S NEW ARCHIVES

December 2, 2002:

Happy holidays!  CKUSA is celebrating by spotlighting the songs from "New Songs For An Old Celebration" by Connie Kaldor and Roy Forbes.  All eleven songs are featured in their entirety, but on different pages throughout the site.  It's up to you to find them! (though you can probably guess where "Mincemeat Tart" is...)

The complete lyrics for "New Songs" are accessible through the Discography page.

He wants it, he wants it!  Find out how to "Give Roy A Mincemeat Tart".

Want egg nog with a kick this year, with the best chocolate chip cookies period on the side?  Check out "Have The Egg Nog..."

New Live Track, Connie and Hart Rouge cuts.

November 4, 2002:

New Connie Kaldor song clips, Hart Rouge clips and Live Track of the Month.

You can now access lyrics on the Discography page.  Just click on the "&"!

The Saskatchewan Slideshow will return in March, with links to the Saskatchewan Tourism Authority.  Perhaps at that time when you're planning your summer vacation, you can heed Connie's suggestion of "Why Aren't You Here?"

The October "Say Hay" concert was a great success.  Find the link to read all about it as well as more opportunities to send support under Help Canadian Prairie Farmers.

October 7, 2002:

Connie played New York City for the first time in Central Park in 1989.  One wonders if her visit was the inspiration for her many contributions to Heather Bishop's "A Duck In New York City".  Song clips are up on the discography page, and all the song lyrics are -- well, on the lyrics page.  As with many New Yorkers, Heather's duck settled down, started a family, moved to the suburbs and today is the mascot for the Long Island Ducks minor league baseball club -- well, so I hear anyway...

There are new song clips (of course), including the live track and Hart Rouge clips.

You can still aid the farmers affected by this year's drought under "Help Canadian Prairie Farmers".

September 5, 2002:

To commemorate the anniversary of September 11th, the Live Track of the Month is "Mother's Prayer", and a tribute featuring "Whistle Gone" is located at "9/11/01 Remembrance".

Well, if it's September, then that can only mean two things: the NFL, and summer vacation photos!  No football here, but check out the "Saskatchewan Slideshow" featuring original photos and two of Connie's songs.

The results are in!  See the list of favorite Connie Kaldor tunes as voted by you, the fans, at "Greatest Hits Voting Results".

Enjoy the new sound clips, including the lesser-heard 1984 version of "Wood River" in it's entirety.

Coming next month:  Lyrics and song clips of Connie's songs from "A Duck In New York City".

July 25, 2002:

Visit the new, expanded Hart Rouge section with lyrics and song clips.

Give a listen to this month's live track, as well as new song clips (and full songs).
